Language immersion is suitable for children who speak Finnish. We also welcome families where English is one of the home languages.
Who is language immersion for?
Places at our kindergarten usually open up for 3–4-year-olds, but we also welcome 5- and 6-year-olds if there is room in the groups. A child who starts with us at the age of 6 needs to have some English skills already. In August 2025 we started the Pikkuiset group for 2-year-olds at our Keski-Espoo kindergarten. The Pikkuiset group's working language is Finnish.
English can also be the family's home language, as long as the child speaks Finnish and can take part in a Finnish-speaking peer group. Read the detailed description for applicants from multilingual families.
Depending on availability, part-time early childhood education may be offered to 5 children a year between 8:45 and 14:15.

Put your child in the queue
Fill in the application form below. If you like, you can queue all of your family's children under school age at the same time – please fill in a separate form for each child. There is no queuing fee.
Selecting children
Children are selected from our queue. Selections for the kindergarten year starting in August begin in January–February. Siblings of children who attend or have attended our kindergarten have priority.
Before your child starts
Once your child has been selected, the family confirms that they accept the place. After that, we have a care agreement discussion and sign the care agreement.

Sending the form does not commit you to accepting a place. Places are offered separately.
