More about fees
Deposit
The deposit is paid before the care agreement is signed, and a payment schedule can be agreed. The deposit is the same as one month's fee, and it is returned to the family when the care relationship ends.
Kela private day care allowance and sibling discount
You can also apply for the income-related supplement to the Kela private day care allowance. In Espoo, the sibling discount is 60% of the city's day care fee, up to €186.60/month.
If the city's day care fee is lower, the sibling discount is lower too – it might be, for example, €44/month.
Families apply for the private day care allowance from Kela and for the sibling discount from the City of Espoo themselves. Our kindergarten director can give you instructions.
Weekly music classes run by Musiikkiopisto Avonia are included in the monthly fee for all of our children.
Support association membership fee
Families with children at the kindergarten join the Honey Monsters support association. The membership fee is €100. Volunteer work days and various fundraising projects are important to our kindergarten.
Honey Monsters also accepts children from other municipalities
The prices on this page include the allowances paid in Espoo. Each municipality decides on any municipal supplements itself.
