    Daily routine

    In our everyday activities, the children's wellbeing and safety come first. Clear routines and rules, together with enough familiar staff, help the children feel safe at kindergarten.

    Kindergarten opens

    Teachers welcome the children and help them find a suitable morning activity.

    Breakfast

    Porridge and/or bread is served with fresh fruit or vegetables.

    Pikkuiset go outside

    The Pikkuiset group heads out to its own yard or the surrounding area.

    Play and activity centres

    The older children play at the play centres or take part in activities with their own age group.

    Older children go outside

    The older children play in our own playground or go on a trip to a nearby park.

    Lunch

    We practise tasting new flavours too. Each group eats in its own dining area.

    The youngest children can take a nap. Pre-primary pupils and 5-year-olds do quiet listening comprehension activities.

    After rest time, the children carry on with play, learning projects and small-group activities.

    Sleeping children are woken up to get ready for their afternoon snack.
