    Welcome to Honey Monsters kindergarten in Keski-Espoo! We offer your child a unique opportunity to grow up in a bilingual environment. We now have places available, including in our Finnish-speaking Pikkuiset group for 2-year-olds.

    An English-language kindergarten in Keski-Espoo

    Honey Monsters Keski-Espoo is a family-owned English language immersion kindergarten in the Espoo Centre area. Our kindergarten has 42 places in small groups divided by age, including the Pikkuiset group for 2-year-olds.

    Our kindergarten in Keski-Espoo is run by a family-owned, non-profit association, where every euro is spent on the children's wellbeing and high-quality early childhood education. Our skilled, long-serving staff create a safe and warm learning environment for children aged 2–7. In the Pikkuiset group, the language of activities is Finnish.

    Honey Monsters was founded in 1993, and our Keski-Espoo kindergarten has been part of pioneering English language immersion in Finland from the very beginning. Over more than three decades, we have helped hundreds of children learn English naturally and grow into confident, multilingual individuals.

    Families where English is one of the home languages

    Honey Monsters can also suit families where English is one of the home languages, as long as the child speaks Finnish and can take part in a Finnish-speaking peer group. The same approach applies at both of our kindergartens. In the Pikkuiset group in Keski-Espoo, the language of activities is Finnish, and full immersion begins at the age of three.

    Questions and answers

    Yes, there are places available in Keski-Espoo now. Get in touch or fill in the application form and we will reserve a place for your child.

    Full language immersion (Early Total Immersion) begins at the age of three. In the Pikkuiset group, 2-year-olds use Finnish and get to know English through play.

    Not at all! Language immersion is also designed for children who do not speak English. Learning happens naturally in everyday life.

    Research shows that language immersion can even strengthen mother tongue skills. Children get Finnish at home, in their hobbies and in their surroundings. We also support Finnish at the kindergarten when needed.

    Yes! Olari has places for children of all ages. You can start at either kindergarten and move to Keski-Espoo later if needed.

    Every child has their own early childhood education plan. We work closely with parents and adapt our activities to the child's needs.
